Firefox 76.0.1 about:config setting "toolkit.telemetry.enabled" is set to false, is greyed out and can't be changed to enabled.

Please advise how to unlock so the setting can be changed to "true"

    Hi Tom K ,

No I don't want tracking at all !

I had gone here : https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Firefox/Privacy and followed all the tips, found out that I could not delete emails in Yahoo, also that You Tube links looked like a bunch of tiny greyed out squares

I reversed everything that I'd changed per that article, but this did not resolve the email or You Tube issues -- when I saw the greyed out setting I thought I'd wrecked my FF , freaked out, and filed the post.

If you can help with my not being able to delete Yahoo emails in FF and not seeing You Tube links , that's what I'm really needing help with .

The attached snip with this reply is obviously not You Tube, but looks exactly the same as You Tube links.

Sorry for confusing you ! -- I'm actually a major privacy freak and that's why I followed the tips in the above referenced wiki.

I'm most grateful for any help with being able to delete Yahoo emails and being able to see greyd out links as they should be seen.

    Kind regards, barebear
