How do you set the default image viewer?

I have a Dell with I3 chip, with Windows 10. It somehow got designated as the default image viewer, and I want to change to another program. How's it done? Thanks!

 

You need to be more specific. You say "it" somehow got set as the default, but don't say what "it" is.

Also, there are many image file types. These include .gif, .jpg, .png, .bmp and more.

Photoshop set itself up as the default image viewer. How do I change that?
