Trying to rescue files using Linux Redo 1.04/ which uses photorec

I have posted my main problem to the Windows7 section of the OS-help forum; but since I am trying to use Linux to resolve the problem (at least partially), I would like to post here, as well. I am aware of it being problematic to cross-post -- therefore, if somebody reads this and would be so kind as to help, would you please read my post in the Windows7 section of this forum, titled "Has Windows 10 been mentioned at Techie7 yet?"

I do have replies which pertain to running in circles within windows only -- but I would be very keen on getting a response from somebody familiar with using LiLi (linux live usb stick).
