I have a real nice message left on my telephone answering machine that I would like to keep.
Does anyone know how I could transfer this message to some permanent storage media.

It is now on a UNIDEN Digital Answering System DECT6.0

    T.I.A.

Probably best solution would be to hold a microphone up to it, play the message and record it on your computer into a media file. It will probably lose some fidelity, but should still be understandable. Anyone around who does video chats can probably help you.

Depending on you particular phone model there may be a headphone jack, usually under a hinged cover on the cordless handset.

You should be able to connect this to a microphone jack to get a better quality recording.

I didn't think of that. Good point - but as noted, it depends on your particular phone.
