I work on winXP My standard processor is Word 97. it is quite satisfactory for my work and I wouldn't like to change it for a more modern one. However some time ago my computer crashed and now I try to reconstruct the most useful programs. I installed the Office 97 from an original CD and also from a program downloaded from the Internet. In both cases the Word97 works correctly when working in English and other European languages. But I need also to wrote and read in Hebrew which is a right to left language. The processor allows to write from right to left but only by “pushing” the letters. It doesn't allow to correct or edit the text as was formerly. In my original version I had an option for change the writing direction, but it doesn't appear in the installed Word97. Is there any way to add such an option by updating in any form or by an additional program etc. Please advise Thanks
