every time i run windows media player it keeps bringing up a message which says

The file wmploc.dll has a version number of 120.7.7601.17514 where
    12.0.7600.16667 was expected

windows media player is not installed properly and must be reinstalled.

Do you want to install the plater from the microsoft web site?

I went to the web site but i couldn't download coz there was no link.
Is there anybody who can help me fix this?

Try running System File Checker, that may fix it for you.

Open an Elevated Command Prompt. Type sfc /scannow and press Enter.
    Let it complete undisturbed.
