I'm a level 48 Merc (dps) and I am having a lot of trouble taking on operatives 1v1 in pvp. As soon as they come out of stealth I'm CC'd and then hit with 3-4 dmg spikes 2k+ dmg each. By that point I'm pretty much dead, and even popping my shield and trying to heal is pretty futile. My question is, what is the best way to combat this? CC break asap and then jet boost? Can anyone who has pvp experience as a Merc DPS or any other ranged DPS help me out? h34r:
Now he will probably "vanish" and try over. So put up your stealth scan and heal. Be rdy to try break his stealth when he comes again. When he attack again stun him, if he gets to you again in stealth he will use hidden strike ability again to knock you down (3sec, and you cant receive any CC for the rest of the fight Use your 60 second CC now, forgot its name, heal your self to max, vent out, get 30m distance. now nuke him into oblivion.(source):swtor4credits
