I've been playing MMO's for years and never had to wait so long on loading screens... It doesn't seem to matter if its when zoning into a planet, joining/leaving a warzone or logging in, everytime I'm sat for at least 80secs+ on the loading screen when i'd not wait more than 10/15secs in WOW for example. Have anyone else experienced this and have a fix?:stuart:
Two things, primarily, have to do with your load times: the read speed of your storage device and the power of your processor able to, well, process the incoming data coming from the storage. Ok, make that three things, your motherboard's ability to relay communications between the other two. Even if you do have an ssd, if your processor is slow or you're using an old mobo (no USB 3.0 for SATA 3) you'll experience slow load speeds swtor4credits for.(source):swtor4credits
