Hay, me mate put a .bat file on me computer. I opened it & it put a whole heap of files on me desktop. I deleted them, but netxt time i restarted me computer, they were there again. It took me 3 times restarting me computer to get rid of them all. Not only did it do that, but it changed me colour scheme to windows 7 Classic. The problem is that i cannot change it back to an areo colour scheme. When I click on "PERSONALISE" & then "WINDOWS COLOUR", it brings up "WINDOWS COLOUR & APPEARENCE", the one to change the scroll bar, the colour of the text, & the highlighted text ect...... HELP PLZ....
In the Personalization window, before you click on Windows Color, try clicking on one of the Themes shown. See if that gets things straightened out again. If not, post the .bat file here so we can look at it. May be able to see what it did and tell you how to undo it.
