((please don't get mad at me if I posted this in the wrong section!!))

I upgraded to 7, and now I am not able to burn DVDs. The Free DVD Creator is claiming it can't find a burning device. Is the device a driver? I am a novice with this, but I did try to update drivers.

No clue what to do next.... I can burn things in iTunes. Doesn't make sense to me

    :)

    Hello,
You may check if the drive has updated firmware.

Open Imgburn... and then click on the task menu(create image file from disc will do)

Then click on the tools tab, move down to drive, and then select check for firmware updates.

I hope this will help you out. Report me back and me know what’s going on .

Actually, after sitting there obsessing over it for an hour, I came to realize that the burner was fine, it was all of my programs from XP that burned dvds with ease. I used to use Power 2 Go, so I repurchased it and all is fine.

    Grazi!!
