Windows XP SATA Hard Disk recognition

I am planning to build a PC, parts should be here by Thursday.

I am going to use a SATA Hard Disk and i have heard that with Windows XP special drivers need to be downloaded for the MB's SATA controller so that Windows XP recognizes the SATA hard disk.

I will be using an Asus P4P800SE Motherboard, with a Pentium 4, 2.8 Ghz. I have checked the Asus website and i have not found any drivers related to this motherboard regarding a SATA controller or anything alike.

Please could someone tell me if i will require this drive, or will XP automatically recognize my Hard Disk, after setting 'boot from disc' in BIOS.

    Thanks.

The drivers you need should be on the CD-ROM which ships with that Mobo, post back if you have problems though.
