I found this online. Running Ubuntu within Windows 7 without a hitch. Portable Ubuntu Runs Ubuntu Inside Windows - Portable Ubuntu - Lifehacker Seems to work fine. I might give it a test drive once I'm done with finals. But just thought I'd bring this to other people's attention.
