after i install the vga, the computer told me to restart after i restart, the problem comes again and i have to choice but to force restart. After i force restart, i go to safe mode to uninstall the nividia driver den i will restart.
yea. im in safe mode now.. however theres no vga mode thing... just safe mode, safe mode with network, safe mode with command promt
Were you able to boot into Vista proper? sans Safe Mode? If so your resolution is just very large. If so I would try to install the nVidia driver here. Try the last one we had: GeForce Release 179
OK. Go back into Safe Mode. You should be prompted to enter Safe Mode or go to System Restore. Try System Restore. If you get there choose a Restore date prior to your problems. See what happens. Can't hurt.
no system restore thingy... only 5 options. Safe mode, Safe mode with network, Safe mode with Command prompt, Last good knows configuration, and starts windows normally
If you choose Safe Mode you should be prompted to Restore. If not in Safe Mode click: start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore
my problem exist quite a few weeks ago... my system restore only can show a maximum of 5 days old restore point
Sorry I am so used to XP I forget the changes: Windows Vista System Restore Guide That being said I assume there are no previous points. Again we enter tedious waters. You could reinstall Vista as townsbg suggested or you could buy support from BenQ: BenQ USA - Service&Support I would look at your BenQ DVD and see what options are available. Repair; restore; drivers; etc. There might be something in there to help. I, myself am about ready to crash but I will be back tomorrow similar time. Just to let you know.
