Have you gone to Control Pannel > Display > Settings ? Try changing the resolution and the colour quality.

If you have an independent AGP graphics card then you need the drivers from that manufacturer. The link Dan Penny gave you is for your motherboard's integrated graphics chip. If you disabled or enabled a graphics device in your BIOS then that is the same place to check. In most BIOS' an added AGP card automatically overrides the onboard chip. If you know the make and model of your graphics card then search that manufacturers web sit for the relevant download.

The scan you provided shows the Intel(R) 82815 Graphics Controller as the current display device. The driver link I provided should be the lateset driver for that device. It's possible you had a "glitch" in your download. I've downloaded the file and "zipped" it. I would clarify whether or not you are plugged into the motherboard or an AGP graphics card. In post #1 it was said "I installed a graphics card". Look at the back of the computer and look where the monitor is plugged in. Is it vertical near the upper edge or horizontal near the lower middle part of the case? You are also running threads on an XP computer. Is this a different machine? I was going to ask the same thing as Jephree - is the monitor cable connected to the on-board graphics output port or a separate graphics card? Unfortunately, I still do not understand the answer! You have correctly identified the BLUE graphics output port. Are there two blue ports like this at the back of your computer? Is your monitor cable connected to a port next to a green mouse port and a purple keyboard port at the "top" of the PC? Or is the cable connected to a blue port at the "bottom" of the PC, separate from the others? For your information, your display settings are 640 x 480 pixels and 16 colours. "16-bit colour" does not mean the same thing.
er there only 1 blue port for monitor and on top of it its a green port it look like speaker something and below it its a also small port which has mircophone pic
