I have only seen this when IE doesnt know what the file size is and makes an estimate, or the reported file is larger than what was reported (Happened when I downloaded the Mandriva 3 CD set)
when I downloaded the 3 CD's it showed correct It finished downloading the 2.04GB while I was asleep (and Irene didn't turn the PC off this time)

Do you guys see any room for a Linux or Mac forum around D-A-L? I know I couldn't post in them as I have no experience of either but if it would benefit the site we could pull some resources together. Anyway was just a thought when I read this.
I know BD, Myself and Windows Licker are all on or trying Linux. It might be a good trial. I have personally install RHEL, RH 7.3 as well as Mandriva 10.x and FC3 (Still have FC3 running as well as RHEL)
I was thinking we could change the "Windows Operating Systems" category to just "Operating Systems" and add Linux and MAC OS
I would help out there in whatever way I could..I like the idea of opening up the OS section since we have had some MAC OS questions...it would also bring in more information too (I always love that part...Info aholic!)
I've just installed mandriva LE 2005 on the other machine also have sante fe and knoppix live CD's, to play about with. the nearest I get to using a Mac is when it rains.....lol with 4 machines networked 3 using XP, 1 has to be different with linux tho' everyone use different flavours..
I've used several Unix and Unix-like flavors for years including Linux (over 20 distributions), FreeBSD (PC-BSD, as well), NetBSD, Solaris 8 (SPARC) - 10 (x86) and OpenSolaris on x86. As you can see, I've found my home at OpenSolaris. I think it would be nice to have two more sub-categories; *BSD and Solaris. The fact of the matter that I've learned through my experience is that many true Unix lovers won't go near Linux. If you'd open those subcategories I'd be more than happy to make sure I added this site to my regular online routine. Happy [belated] New Year! ~Root
