    Just had a scare with microsofts cumulative update KB4481031. Installation wasn't smooth as I had to manually turn off the PC after 20 minutes of seeing the word, "restarting." Than when it finally booted, everything ran in slow motion. Also task manager said, "Not Responding." Well luckily after 30 minutes I got to uninstall it via control panel and all is back to normal.

    Not sure what went wrong but I set windows update to hold off for a month. I hope this helps someone else!!!!

    No problems with any of the 6 systems here. Google only found 1 other user reporting a problem and it was a different problem than yours. If me, I would not wait a whole month - maybe a couple more days then try again.
