I've had my ssd for several years now and haven't defragged via windows defrag as they Trim themselves. I opened defrag which is disabled for a look and noticed that it states the system part of the drive has never been trimmed. Am feeling this is a normal thing but would like to verify. TIA

It does not say it has never been TRIMed it says never optimized.

What version of Windows? Why do you have Scheduled optimization turned off?

I do it manually. Before when I had it on it never worked. I'd come in weeks later and it said something like 14 days since last run. Windows 10 pro less creative update.

It won't run if not needed. And of course, SSDs should never be defragged. This is not a problem with Windows as it knows not to defrag them.
