Trusteer Rapport and Windows 10

    Hi,

    I had encountered an issue with Trusteer Rapport not appearing in IE11 or Edge after I upgraded to Windows 10.
    I contacted support and below is the response which I thought should be shared:

    Rapport currently supports the Operating Systems listed in the link below:

    Please be advised that Rapport currently does not support Windows 10.

    However, support for this OS will be incorporated in the near future.

    Obviously Windows 10 has taken IBM by surprise!

    Well, if you paid for this product from IBM, I would demand your money back since W10's arrival should have surprised no one. Sadly, what often happens when a giant company like IBM gobbles up a tiny company like Trusteer, support for the product is dropped - especially if the new parent company already has a similar product.

    Frankly, I had never heard of Trusteer Rapport until you posted and I try to keep up with current anti-malware trends. So it seems clear this product, which came out of Israel and bought by IMB in 2013 has not done too well in the US market. And that may be why IBM has failed to keep it current.
