I installed the game Mysterious Island and it will load but when I go to save it crashes down to my desk top. I have run diagonostics and think it is my video card, how can I upgrade?

    go to start/ run: dxdiag

On the main page what is your version of DirectX?

    Under the Display tab:

What is listed under Device? & also Driver?

Also what is your Operating System?

You have onboard graphics which arn't going to run many high end games.

You need to see what kind of graphics card your motherboard will support.

    Run this scan:

What is listed under: Main Circuit Board?

    manual here:

You have 3 available PCI slots. No AGP.

So as you look around at cards that is the first thing to consider.

Most new high end cards will be AGP. But there are many for PCI. Also do not confuse PCI with PCI-E which is a completely different creature.

Here are 2 main manufacturers to search:

Look around & ask back your questions.
