can any body help! i cannot print and i cannot reinstall my printer software because my print spooler is not running

I would be gratefull for any advice

Do you get an error that contains:
The print spooler service is not running?

One suggestion is to try to start it by:

From the command prompt, type

net start spooler
(and hit enter)

There are alot of similar issues in this search:

Also make sure the Print Spooler service is set to Auto and check to make sure it's started after running the command jephree suggested. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, this will open the services consol. Make sure Print Spooler startup type is set to Auto and that the service is started.
