    Hi,
I have a problem with my WMP too , but would like to have some help on it . Same symptoms, however different problems.

    AppName: wmplayer.exe AppVer: 10.0.0.3802 ModName: wmpplu~1.dll
    ModVer: 1.2.0.0 Offset: 0000ef47

Everytime I tried to open my mp3 with WMP, it has that problem, and MP3 never opens through double clicks. I tried reinstalling it and worked fine for a few hours, but then came back to that same old problem. Hope someone can figure it out to help me!

    Thank you

    Greetings lambertwei

First off please start a new thread for your problem. Just makes it easier

When you start your own thread please describe in as much detail as possible what's happening.

Also search your computer for wmpplu~1.dll
Try to find its' properties & source if possible.

    Thanks

NOTE: this solution is meant for Windows XP with "Windows Media Player 11"

This just started happening to me today

i transfered 56 movies to my PS3 SO FAR no problems UNTIL something went wrong TODAY

    so i found a solution

first check to see if UPnP is working if it IS WORKING then continue on

Close Window Media Player and any other windows.
    go here %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player\"
delete ALL the file in it

    b. Click Start, All Programs, Accessories.
    c. Click on "Command Prompt" and
    d. Type the following commands and press Enter after each line.

    REGSVR32 JSCRIPT.DLL
    REGSVR32 VBSCRIPT.DLL
    REGSVR32 WMP.DLL

open Windows Media Player 11 let it load, then click Help at the top "Check for Updates"
    none found

try adding your videos, music and pictures

right click "My Library" then "Media Sharing" check all the options MAKE SURE that it says ALL STARS are checked

no go on your Xbox 360 or PS3 try connecting

TRY DIFFERENT VIDEOS in you library and use .avi they seem to work better. do 1 .avi file at a time

also try updating this way FIX: Windows Media Player 11 may stop responding when you transfer media to a device that uses the Media Transfer Protocol and then you cancel the transfer process make SURE YOU click the right update file. if it says you all ready have that update. try

    Microsoft Windows Update
    if theres no updates then

download K-Lite Codec Pack MEGA version or FULL at Download K-Lite Codec Pack

install ALL CODECS check H.264 when that option appears

    restart computer
    .
you can try uninstalling windows media player 11 and reinstalling it. but that might not work

if that doesn't work. the i suggest to REPAIR your Operating System.

NOTE: this solution is meant for Windows XP

still have problems? email me at *************** i check my email everyday. "please leave a subject like "PS3 NOT WORKING when transferring
    videos"
