OK so i installed photoshop7 and im getting an error that is un recoverable or whatever and i looked around and some issuses about corrupt fonts came up so that kinda made sense cause i installed a bunch of them lately and i need a program to get rid of corrupt fonts anyone got any help for me i would seriously apreciate it

Have you allready tried to uninstall photoshop 7 and do a clean install of the software again?

If you know (or can see in the error message which fonts are messing up) you can delete them using these steps

1. Click on Start > Control Panel > Fonts to open your Fonts folder.

2. Select (highlight) the font(s) you want to uninstall.

3. Copy the font(s): Edit > Copy or Ctrl+C

4. Go to another folder where you want to keep your uninstalled fonts and copy/paste the font(s) there: Edit > Paste or Ctrl+V

5. Return to your Fonts folder (make sure the fonts are still selected/highlighted) and click on File > Delete

6. Click on Yes when you get the "Are you sure you want to delete these fonts?" prompt.

Tips:

1. From Microsoft: "To prevent a font from loading without removing it from the hard disk, move the font from the Fonts folder into another folder. Use this method for troubleshooting purposes. This process does not completely remove the font, because font registry information is not deleted. However, it prevents the font from loading."
As a general rule of thumb, you can expect to run into installation problems with 800-1000 or more installed fonts. In practice, you'll probably encounter system slowdowns with fewer fonts. There is no magic number. The maximum number of fonts will vary from system to system due to the way the Windows System Registry works.

There is a Registry Key within Windows (for Win9x and WinME versions) that contains the names of all the TrueType fonts installed and the paths to those fonts. This Registry Key has a size limit. When that limit is reached, you can no longer install more fonts. If all your fonts have very short names you can install more fonts than if they all had very long names.
