Can you TELL windows to save web passwords?
Windows will sometimes come ON when you enter a password at a web site and ask if you want it to remember it? But it does not do this all the time, is there any way to access this procedure to say "YES windows please do remember this password" on the occasions when it does not ask...
My library requires that I enter my library card number before I can enter their site, I naturally have to look this number up, and some sites assign you a password which you then cannot change… these “odd’ passwords or user names are a pain and it would be so nice if you could INSTRUCT windows to remember them for you.

Secure site passwords cannot generally be saved. This is for your protection

    However for non secure sites

Open the Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options | Content tab
    Click the AutoComplete button
In the Use Autocomplete for, check Usernames and passwords in forms
