I have a IBM laptop with win xp on it and would like to make a clean install. I have an operation system CD, a application recovery CD and a drive recovery CD. all for windows xp from another laptop of mine. I tryed to install windows again because this is a second hand computer and it has a virous also lots of porno I would like to get rid of. So I thought a clean install would be in order. I tryed to just put in the operation system CD and using the #'s on the bottom of this labtop. I ended up putting windows xp on it again. So I'm using this new pertition on the hard drive and it's working find but would like to ge rid of the old pertition or take everything off and start fresh. I would need a step by step guide. please help. Any Ideas?
