Reboot your computer to safe mode (Press F8 at restart)

Go to c:\System32\config\systemprofile\localsettings\tem porary internet files\content.IE5

Delete the contents of that folder

    Restart your computer

    Do a full scan

what your saying doesnt really make sense, because virus should be removed completely by reformating your hard drive but still you said the virus is attached to your system32 folder after the HD reformat????? I had the similar kind of issue with my comp last year but when I reformatted HD, then reinstalled my OS everything went OK as usuall...I may suspect that your current visit to whatever the websites might caused this problem.

do you regularly UPDATE your antivirus software, if not, you should because sometimes update is neeeded in order for your anit virus to remove your virus.

Do you regularly update your internet critical secruity update from the MS site?

    Hello Tech,
Putasolutions has already put in one reply so another isn't necessarily needed.

I've seen many cases where a format hasn't removed it. This virus is in a difficult place to remove so no antivirus program will be able to remove it regardless of updates.

    Owen,

let me confirm your logic, so whoever first answered to gilapetto's issue, the answer or opinions from the others is not needed.
However, in the case of ArellaElora's there are couple of forum chatter like me, regardless of whoever first answered, did post thier own personal opinions. Does this count toward your logic? if not what should you do? My personal question would be in this case..."WHY ME, what about the others," So I am not allowed to post my personal opinions or answer based on the logic of yours? What should I do then, please help me out here
