im running:-

windows xp home

athlon xp 3200

1 gig of corsair ram

2x80 gig maxtor serial hard drives, sata raid striped

asus a7n8x deluxe mother board

radeon 9800xt (asus)

soundblaster 5.1 live soundcard

and i had some problems when i installed my new soundcard so i did a system restore to 7 days earlier. and now for some reason i cant shut down my pc. i click on shut down and it does nothing, all the programs work and everything. its like i never pressed it. the same with restart and log off. but when i press switch user it goes back to log on screen as it should and i can shut down from there.

please help me as this is very very very very annoying. Thanks Alot
