iv recently installed windows XP on a new hard drive but cant get any sound from my pc. a message saying no audio hardware appears when i try to play an mp3 file. Unfortunatley im not on line at the moment so cant access windows updates to remedy this problem. Windows ME was the original operating system that came with my Mesh pc. Can i install the drivers from this disk to work with xp or can i download drivers (at work!). Please help!

hi buddy ur problem sounds bit tricky.first check out the wether the xp is dectecting the sound hardware or not.if it detects tell me which is the sound card.
if u know the sound card u can downlaod the drivers from this website

click on that.if u find the driver and try to download that.it will ask for the username and password.
