We have a Compaq Presario 900 Notebook, and we went to shut it down. I think it said it's hybernating. We have it plugged in to charge the battery and we wanted to turn it on, but now it won't turn on. Can I still turn it on while the battery is charging? I don't know what to do. Please help.

Try holding down the power button for a good 5-20 seconds and see if that either wakes it up or powers it down (if it is still hibernating). You can turn it on/off use it as normal when the battery is charging.

If you still have trouble and it is under warranty then it would be a good idea to report the problem with compaq.
