I have a hp pavillion Dv9000 (dv9060us) running Xp media center service pack 3 bios version F.2D
When turned on I get a blue screen saying Unmountable_Boot_Volume
When I put in the operating system disk (to reinstall windows) it loads disk then tells me that there are no hard disk drives found
The same happens after I put in a new hard drive
I entered the bios, reset bios defaults and ran a primary hard disk self test and it fails immediately with all hard drives, the seconadry hard disk self tests pass with the same hard drives
I replaced the new hard drive with the original (figuring it had nothing to do with the drive itself) hoping to talk to you guys and thus save my old files
