The result from the Operating System CD is that our HDD not detected. Hiks.

edit: We took out the HDD and put it on other PC and the result is also the same. It won't boot.

Well, a boot drive from one computer should not be used in another computer. It is not legal for one, as the Windows license is tied to the original computer. But for testing, the problem is technical - the boot drive is setup with the drivers for the first computer hardware, not the second and that typically results in boot failure.

Still, for testing only, the 2nd computer should have detected the HD, even if it choked when trying to load up Windows. So it sounds like your HD is toast.

    okay, I understand.

    thanks

Time has nothing to do with it. Anything that breaks was fine 12 hours before. It was probably on the verge of failure. When you first turn any electronics on, everything is strained until all stabilizes. Accelerating to 60MPH in a car is much more demanding than simply cruising along at 60MPH.
