Hello!
I'm new in this forum. Sometimes, my Windows XP freezes for some seconds, show me the Blue Screen of Dead and restart the PC when I play a Flash video in YouTube or similar websites and when I played video files with DXVA.
The error event is:
Error Code 1000008e, parameter 1 e0000001, parameter 2 b83c8925, parameter 3 b261f81c, parameter 4 00000000.
I have Windows XP SP3 with Core2 Duo 2.53Ghz, 4Gb Ram DDR2 800 (2.99Gb avaiable), Intel DP43TF Motherboard, XFX GeForce 8600gt GDDR2 and use Media Player Classic - Home Cinema 1.5.3.3611 with Haali Splitter, ffdshow Audio Decoder and DXVA for playing videos.
I don't have idea of the origin of this error but I suspect of my Graphic Card or my BIOS.
Thanks for your help!

If your computer works fine otherwise, it would not be your BIOS. Any errors in Device Manager?
You might try one stick of RAM at a time.
It would be a good idea to turn off automatic restarts so you can see and record the BSOD information. The next time a BSOD occurs, record the info and post here.Right click on My Computer.
Click Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery Settings.
Uncheck box for "Automatically restart".
