Could it be over heating? You can download 'SpeedFan' to find out. It doesn't directly measure the temp of your graphics card but you will at least be able to eliminate this.

What you are describing can be many things and either software or hardware.

I wouldn't think it is a heating problem because it would probably freeze or shut down
Because you said you recently upgraded your RAM, that would be my first guess.
If you have 2 RAM sticks, try working with one RAM stick at a time and see what you find.

Is it ONLY "Prince of Persia 2008" that you encounter this issue?..
    - What about doing other things on the PC?
    - -What happens with YouTube Clips?, or playback of Local saved video clips?
    - are you getting random crashes/restarts?

You say it played OK for a while.. What is a "While"? is that a few days/weeks then the FPS slow down or is it a few minutes then the slow down?

If it was after a few days/weeks .. what changed on the PC beside the RAM? What extra software has been installed? Have you changed the screen resolution for the game (increasing the resolution can be a FPS killer on some cards)
[considering the time since the original post I suspect we may just be talking to ourselves]

CPU minimum "Intel Core 2 DUO @ 2.2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+" you list the CPU as 2.4 ghz but is it a Core 2 Duo or better?

I would suspect as with most PC's slowing down is usually caused by ad-ware (spyware) or a virus. Backup your registry and run your virus software and than run one of the leading free spyware tools such as:Spybot Search & Destroy or Ad-aware etc...Next run "Windows Cleanup", followed by a disk defrag. Come back and post the results if any. My next step would be to halt any background programs not completely essential. But not with out a reply.

Have you tried reinstalling the program or using System Restore (if you have that on your computer)?
