sonic activation module
I have aquired an old dell dimension PC which has had sonic update manager uninstalled, but every time it boots up the pc tried to install Sonic Activation Module from CD (which I don't have). This has been going on for a couple of months, and I have tried a system restore - won't work, tried various "fixes" ranging from deleting sonic folders to deleting sonic entry in registry, but unfortunately can't remember the detail.
Any ides how I can resolve this issue.
Thanks

Delete the file C:/program files/install shield/ isdm.exe

The PC didn't have a folder c:/program files/install shield/, but I've managed to borrow a copy of a Roxio CD, and installed that, The problem has disappeared, and I'm not going to uninstall it.
Thanks.

Reason: folder name wrong

Sorry, that should have been;
C:/program files/InstallShield Installation Information/ isdm.exe
If the isdm.exe file is there, delete it.
