Suddenly I can't use these letters on my Notebook keyboard: N,X,C,M,N,X,A,B,C,K and V...

I have a Toshiba Satellite Notebook PC with Windows XP OS and IE, Mozilla Firefox and Chrome. Whether I type on a web site or using the OS, same problem. What's the solution?

removed the battery from the laptop for two minutes and three seconds. Inserting it back in - yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!!! The problem disappeared.
