i was trying to get room on my laptop and deleted a lot of important things (including the sound system and windows recovery) and the bar on the bottom of the screen dowsnt work, when i minimize things they dossapear, the clock and icons near there still appear (although they trail icons so its hard to tell them apart) but everything else is gone... like i sant see the start menu button. i feel pretty stuped because i deleted windows recovery too. i cant download things either, even if i have the space because when i click the link to download anything the download window flashes once for about a quarter of a second then dissapears. please help!!!

Do you have an XP Installation CD?

If so, I would strongly suggest you do a Repair Install
