Angry Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close

    Hello,
I'm having a few problems. First, while using firefox my windows xp automatically reverts to windows classic theme, After a few minutes. After that happens some of start menu items don't work, including turn off/restart it does nothing. Also, after that firefox runs multiple process in task manager. when before it was only one. Second I'm getting a "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close" I have tried the bat file that is suppose to fix it, but it still happens. Also I'm getting a post beep when the login screen comes up an at startup my application folder pops up. I have run my AVG anti-virus an finds nothing, But when I run Malwarebytes it finds infections an the avg threat screen comes up. The Malwarebytes finishes an deletes the problems but they keep coming back. I ran Malwarebytes an AVG in safe mode an it still comes back. Please Help!!!

I think you should have one of our Malware Removal experts take a look. Please follow these procedures.

After you have received a clean bill of health, please post back here with your status.

Thank you! But I gave myself a clean bill of health! I just did a fresh install!!

Well, I personally think that's too bad because a fresh install sets you back months, if not years in security updates, and it wipes out your security programs too. And you don't learn what was wrong, and therefore how to keep it from happening again.

Do make sure you have at least Windows Firewall enabled and you get a real-time anti-malware solution running immediately. Then update Windows completely before doing regular computer work.

Yeah, but after I did those scans when I turned the connection back on. It wouldn't let it reconnect to my isp. Plus it started to lock-up on reboot.
