no matter which user account is clicked the computer will only get halfway through the log in and log back out automatically :/ any ideas??

In the 2nd thread you started for this same problem, you said you can't boot to Safe Mode either, the same thing happens. When you tried Safe Mode, did you select Administrator as the account to login as? If not, try it and let me know what happens.

If login to Administrator works then you need to create a new account and copy everything over from the old one, but let's hold off on that until you respond.
