    Re: Can't delete empty folders

The notepad deleted just like it should have.
The Recycler on D also showed a file just deleted from the C drive, is that normal?

    Recycler folder, or Recycle Bin?
Your computer has ONE Recycle Bin, but each drive has its own Recycler folder.

    Bed time here

    See the screen shots.
This is what I see in the Recycler folder of the D drive.
The second shot shows a file dragged from the desktop to the Recycle Bin, all on the C drive!
    Confusing wot?

Next time, you have a screenshot, simply attach it, instead of putting it into .doc file. It saves me some time.

I'm not sure what's going on there.
It may have something to do with you having some Windows installation on that drive.
In any case, we don't have anything malicious there.

Well apart from that folder I did not put there there is nothing of Windows on that drive, except our friend the Recycler and system volume information.
I am content with no malware though,
so let's draw a line under this. You probably have more pressing threads to attend to, and with no malware I can do other stuff too.
Thanks for you help, appreciated as ever.
PS How to attach a screen shot, just Control + V?

Save it as a .jpg, or .gif file and attach it.

To upload a picture here use the paperclip icon above the text input area to upload the image. When that's done, close that window then click on the paper clip again and select the uploaded image. It will be placed in your post. Click the Preview button to see it.
