hi im stuck in 640x880 screen resolution my monitor is made for 740x1024 60hz, but it won't let me change it to that how do i fix this?

Neither of those are normal resolutions. Note the width is listed first. So it would be something like 600 x 480 or 800 x 600. And your monitor would support something like 1024 x 600 or 1024 x 768.

Sadly, you told us nothing about your computer, graphics solution, or monitor. So we have nothing to go on. But my guess would be you have not installed the driver to your graphics solution (card or on-board). If a card, you can get the driver from the computer maker, or the card maker if custom built. If on-board, you can get the driver from the computer maker, or the motherboard maker if custom built.
