the letters b n space and left arrow are not working on my daughters laptop it dosent look like its dust under them and she says she hasnt spilt anything on it any ideas

Replace the laptop keyboard. You can usually find one for less than $30 and they are easy to replace. Meantime, use an external keyboard.

Usually the intel utilities have options for setting hotkeys. Beyond that all I can think of is finding another program that does automation and will make the changes when you run a script. Then you can just have 2 scripts and not have to click around manually.

this may be tricky... the switch may be the culprit under the buttons not the buttons itself.

A laptop keyboard is self-contained. Replacing it should fix this kind of problem.

if you dont external key board try start-all programs-accessablity-on screen keyboard. this works with the mouse, and is good in a jam.
