I can't uninstall this puppy-when I try (control panel - add & remove programs) a message
box pops up that says "Cannot open 'Install.log' ". Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Appreciate any help!

Uninstall using Revo Uninstaller (Free). Even though the normal uninstall fails, it will scan the registry and hard drive to remove it. Works well for me.

The alternative is to do a System Restore to a date before you installed it.

If you are going to add to someone's thread please post content relevant to the topic. For example, this user wants to uninstall a toolbar not IE. Please do not confuse the user by providing unwarranted, off topic information.

In addition, since I know how perfect uninstaller works I would be extremely skeptical about uninstalling IE with it considering that a botched removal could damage the system & really perfect installer doesn't uninstall anything but forces a removal. When removing software it is best to first use either the manufacturer's uninstaller or add/remove programs. A forced removal using Perfect uninstaller (as well as revo-uninstaller) is a last resort that should only used if a regular uninstall doesn't work.
