    Fragmented file

I have just recovered from a clean install of XP, on a new hard drive.
As I went through the updating process, I defragged the drive2 or 3 times (I think Windows updates are a major culprit in file fragmentation).
Despite this I have 1 file that defrag can't defrag. And it is in 182 bits.
What I would like to do is identify this file And if I can do that I would like to remove it, defrag and reinstall. Whatever it is it can't be working efficiently if it is in so many bits.
I don't know if this is possible, but on a new drive with 78% free space it kinda bugs me.

182 bits is tiny! 8 bits to a byte, that means that file is less than 23 bytes in size. Are you sure it is saying it cannot be defragged? Or is it saying it cannot be moved? Are you defragging in Safe Mode?

And note if you have 78% free space, fragmentation is not going to be a problem. And besides, the second you start using the computer, fragmentation begins again so I rarely defrag any more.
