More info please. What is supposed to be on the CD (what editing program) and what camera did it come with?
By downloading, do you mean you are trying to install it?

I don't find much searching for OX80070002 (first character should be a 0 (zero) not an O). The few I did find indicate a missing file. You need to uninstall VideoCamSuite 30, reboot and try installing it again.
What actually shows up in Add/Remove Programs for VideoCamSuite 30? If you click on it, is there a Change/Remove selection? If not, give Revo Uninstaller (Free) a try.
Download and install Revo Uninstaller (Free) Make sure you download the free version, not the paid for version.
Interface is pretty straight forward.- Right click on the program you want to get rid of and select Uninstall. Click Yes when asked.
- Make sure Moderate is selected and click on Next.
- Click OK if asked are you sure you want to remove it.
- The normal uninstaller will run if there is one, click Next when it completes, otherwise Click Next.
- Revo will then scan for leftover information in the Registry and on the hard drive, click Next.
- If there are leftover registry entries, delete them by placing a check mark in the boxes next to the entries that are BOLD only. Do not delete any other registry entries. When done, click Next.
- Any left over files on the hard drive will be listed. Click on Select All then Delete to get rid of them. Reboot and the program you chose will be gone.
Since you will be working with the registry, it would be a very good idea to create a backup first. The easiest way to do this is to install ERUNT. See here:

No matter what Panasonic says, this sure smells like an application problem. Version 3.0 is the latest available and lots of people are having problems. Many recommended using Prism Video Converter Software to convert the files from MOV to WMV then you can work with them in other editing software perhaps?
What version of Microsoft .NET Framework do you have installed?
-
Hi If you are asking what system I have its Microsoft windows XP. I have been using Movie Maker in the past with my Dig Cam and a firewire connection, But Panasonic says I can't use a firewire with this camera but only a USB connection as this camera is only acting as a reader on play back. ??? Cheers Goodfellow.

I meant Microsoft .NET Framework. If you open Control Panel then Add or Remove Programs, what is shown for Microsoft .NET Framework? It should have a number, 1.1, 2, 3, 3.5, etc.
Perhaps upgrading to a later level will help your problem since it looks like VideoCamSuite 3.0 has a dependency on .NET. Other t5han that I'm out of ideas. Hopefully someone else can help.

Hi My netframework is 1.0 2.03.03.5 This is all Dutch to me but I get what you mean.
many thanks for all the help you have given me, I hope to have things O.K. soon.
