Hi,

I've been getting some weird messages for a week or so: things like "there is not enough space in the start menu" after I clicked on start, even though the list of programs did not fill the column, and the the computer would sometimes run "check disk" when turned on. Then just last night, it started freezing and when I rebooted the computer it went to a black screen which said it couldn't find the hard disk. I unplugged the computer and it worked fine. Today it went to the black screen once, but it's been working fine other than that. I'm trying to figure out if this is something serious or easily fixable.
