Each time a folder is selected the search results window is opened just as if the <SEARCH> icon had been selected in the <Start Menu> .
How can I suppress this and revert to Opening the window and not searching it?

I notice as well that <Search> is the top item on the drop down menu if a folder is right clicked

I do have another on-going prob and I wonder if you can help on this too?
I installed a version of Ubunto some time ago as an experiment for an alternative OS to MS.
when this was un-installed from the c: drive I was left with a menu on boot-up that requires me to select from 4 operating systems, no.4 being MS Xp which I wish to use.

This is then followed by a further 2x choice which on selecting Xp loads windows. I am told that this is the "GRUB" which was set up during the Ubunto installation. I have tried to remove without any success....Any ideas?
