    Monitor shutting down

When I try to long on......something is shutting my monitor off.....I switched monitors and the same thing happens......ATT is saying that my DSL modem is working okay.....I have tried two other towers......I'm not sure if they were Windows 2000 or what.....anyhow one of them did the exact same thing......one would let the screen come up but then the mouse and keyboard would not work.....Thanks

Exact same thing? You said first "something is shutting my monitor off". Then you said, "the screen come up but then the mouse and keyboard would not work". How is that the exact same thing?

If you have tried two monitors, and this happens with two different computers, then, assuming these two machines are infected with the same malware, then that points to some other piece of hardware they have in common. Cable? Router?

The third sounds like something different and should be in a new thread.
