    Unhappy BSOD Help pl0x cant find a fix :(

    Ok so i had W7 installed for half a year and than day before yesterday i started playing an MMORPG so i played it for like 2 hours or something and than i got a blue screen and pc restarted after that (forgot to turn of automatic restart option) so i tried formating and i returned back to XP formated C: and instaled xp on it and i tried formatting D: while in windows and it said that windows wasnt able to complete the formating. Anyway formating didnt help i got the bluescreen again here is info on it

    Why did you downgrade to XP? Was your copy of XP designed for this computer (ie if it is a dell does your disk say dell)? It must either be a retail version of XP or one branded by your manufacturer or else there will probably be problems possibly including the one that you are currently having.

    Regardless one of the more common reasons for this blue screen is faulty memory so I suggest that you follow these instructions to scan your memory. A blue screen carried over from one install to the next either indicates hardware errors or an installation gone bad.

    Do you know what the initial blue screen was? What was the exact error returned when you tried to reformat the disk? Where you installing XP at the time? Did the XP install complete without any other errors?
