    Re: find my audio driver

    I asked for two simple lines. Not reports that have to be waded through to get these two simple lines.

    Download, install, and run Everest Home Edition on this machine. (CLEAN FreeWare) Once it's finished loading and
    running, click the + sign next to;

    Motherboard. Click on Chipset. Post the information listed under South Bridge exactly as it is listed.

    Multimedia. Post the information listed under PCI / PnP Audio exactly as it is listed.

    No, you still did not provide the model number. All you gave us was the manufacture (Lenovo).

    According to the info.txt you posted, your have a SiS High Definition Audio Controller but I can't find anything specific for it.

    From the SIW report,

    North Bridge SiS 672 Revision 00

    I found this driver, give it a try: Sis SiS671/672/771 Driver 5.07 WHQL

    It would still be better to go to the Lenovo web site and download the correct drivers for your specific Lenovo model.
