when I power on my computer it stays on the Bios enter screen for 30 mins before it g

when I last powered on my machine It stayed on the screen I can use to enter Bios for 2 hours maybe more. I am afraid to turn my machine off again but I know I will need to eventually. I used trend micro and did a online virus scan that found no threat then I used hijack this here are the results.

before this i took it to be repaired because it kept restarting at the os choose screen and i could not even get to safemode or last known good configuration.
the repair shop removed one of my antivirus programs

[HJT removed, topic moved to Windows forum, since I don't see any security issues here - Broni]

Any error messages coming up? It could be the simple fact that something isn't plugged in right. I would definetly call the repair center back and let them know of the situation you are in. Also, try unplugging your keyboard >.> I know it sounds strange but see if that helps. Please post your answers.

    Hai,

Try disconnecting hdd,cd rom, any add in card, floopy drive. Leave cpu + heatsink, ram, psu tand start the system
and go to bios and post back the result (some system won't work without floopy drive, if your system ask for floopy give it)

sorry for not replying i had posted at another site also. i think the problem had something to do with automatic updates because when it happened i was installing some and it happened again two days ago i restarted the machine to install window automatic updates and it went off and came back on and stayed on the enter BIOS screen for a long time. i had to keep cutting the power off to get it off because when i touched the power button on the front of the PC it just flashed. finally i pressed the CD-ROM drive button and it went to the bios screen. in the bios screen the CD-ROM drive was set as the first boot up device i changed this to have the hard disk boot up first. i don't know why automatic updates make my PC freeze.

did this fix your problems? Normally the boot sequence is set to boot from cdrom first.

I looked in the add/remove programs utility and the microsoft updates were installed. I have not powered off the machine since i got it to get back on to windows so i'm not sure if it will happen again.
