Morning all,

I have a really frustrating issue that we have been trying to fix for a while to no avail, and unfortunately much searching online has offered no solutions to this precise issue so wondered if someone here may be able to help.

We have two desktop computers on XP connecting to two network drives held on a third.

One computer connects to both network drives no problem, whilst the second tends to have issues with connection/ reconnection inasmuch as the network drives are listed as connected but only seem to actually connect when you manually enter a drive to access files etc.

The problem arises when starting Outlook as our PST files are held on one of the network drives for remote backup. If opening the network drive and then Outlook it's fine, but if opening Outlook first an unknown location message appears, in which case we need to exit Outlook, open the network drive, and go back into Outlook again.

Obviously this isn't a major issue as we have the above long way around it, but as mentioned it is really frustrating and if it is something that can be fixed then let's get it fixed!

Appreciate anyones help in advance!
